Harry Potter’s Dave Legeno Found Dead In Death Valley


Harry Potter actor Dave Legeno has reportedly been found dead in Death Valley. According to current reports, the British actor’s body was discovered by two hikers on Sunday in a remote area.

According to TMZ, the Inyo County Sheriff’s Department in California stated that the Harry Potter actor appears to have died due to heat related issues. Mirror continued on to state that there were no signs of foul play, leading investigators to believe that he may have died due to the extreme heat.

The Inyo County Sheriff’s Department believes that Legeno may have died some three to four days before his body was actually discovered in the remote area of Death Valley by the two hikers. With summer temperatures in Death Valley known to go over 120 degrees during the day, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Harry Potter actor did die due to heat related issues.

While Dave Legeno is known for his recurring role in the Harry Potter franchise as werewolf Fenrir Greyback, Mirror stated that Legeno was also known as a bouncer and wrestler before he took up boxing and acting.

“His first major film role was in Guy Richie’s ‘Snatch’ and he has also starred in ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘Centurion’ along with ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2.'”

Dave Legeno’s body is reportedly still with the coroner as the family makes further preparations. According to TMZ, Legeno is survived by a daughter who is in her 20s.
