Tara Reid Gets Engaged, Married Within Two Hours

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Big Lebowski star Tara Reid.

The 35-year-old actress is back in the news, however, after posting to Twitter this weekend that she’d gotten engaged and then immediately updating that she’d gotten hitched. Media outlets raced to report the Twitter news, and in doing so, accidentally misidentified Reid’s new husband.

In the past, the American Pie actress had dated Danish businessman Mark Lilleund- and her rep apparently also made the mistake of ID’ing Lilleund as Reid’s new husband. But Reid later confirmed she’d actually married Zack Kehayov, a Greek man she has been dating for a “brief” period of time.

Lilleund commented on the news, and denied marrying Reid- offering congratulations if the events had occurred as reported:

“If she has married, then she hasn’t married me, that’s for sure… If Tara has married, then I’ll be the first to congratulate her.”

Reid has not been very articulate about the series of events on her Twitter account, and two days before the whirlwind engagement and wedding, she posted:

Greece – there is no substitute!

Reid then simply posted “I just got engaged!” and then “Greece married!” and “Thank you for all of your support! I love you guys… Love in Greece…I am now a wife:)” Although she did tweet some pics of her engagement ring, no pics of the wedding were shared on the microblogging service.

Although it hasn’t been confirmed, Reid is believed to be participating in the upcoming season of Big Brother as her next project, and she recently wrapped American Reunion, an American Pie sequel.
