Matt Bendick Found Dead In Philly Hotel Room Exactly One Year After Cory Monteith [Breaking]

Nightclub owner Matt Bendick was found dead in a Philadelphia Hotel room on Thursday, according to a report by TMZ. Bendick, 35, was the boyfriend of “Glee” actress Becca Tobin, and the pair had been together in Philly.

It seems that Bendick was in town on a business trip and Becca tagged along. Sources told TMZ the couple had been out on Wednesday celebrating with friends and gave no indication that anything was amiss. They returned to the hotel, but there is no confirmation regarding the time.

Bendick’s body was discovered by a hotel maid on Thursday afternoon, but there is no information concerning Becca’s whereabouts.

Although, on the face of it, the circumstances surrounding Bendick’s death are mysterious, the Philadelphia Medical Examiner only confirmed that Bendik’s body was found and provided no other details.

Matt Bendick was involved in running a number of clubs around the country, particularly in Los Angeles. He was the Director of Operations at DBA Nightclub and a co-owner of AV Nightclub.

Bendick did not have a reputation as a heavy partygoer, and those who knew him personally are reported to be shocked and devastated by his sudden death.

Until now, attempts to contact Tobin’s reps have been unsuccessful.
