WWE News: Wrestling Legend Sting Teases Potential WWE Debut On Twitter, Appearing Next Week?

When it comes to the world of Pro-Wrestling, we have found that literally ANYTHING can happen. WWE has done some things that make us scratch our heads, come close to praising the ground they all walk on, and even want to spit on them. At the end of the day though, out of all those bad moments we may see, WWE tries to even then up with great moments. What better moment could there be by bringing in a man WWE has yet to get?

Pro-Wrestling Legend and Icon Sting may be close to if not already signed to debut with the WWE soon. Like Ultimate Warrior before him, 2K Sports wanted to sign Sting to be part of the new WWE 2k15 Video Game. This would be the first time since the TNA video game years back that Sting has appeared in any video game. Like Warrior, Sting has been set to appear on WWE TV at some point in the future for months now.

We have seen Sting heavily used on the WWE Network, especially after his good friend The Ultimate Warrior passed away shortly after WrestleMania 30.

Sting is now teasing the WWE fans by simply saying 7-14-14. This is interesting, because Sting does not use his Twitter account often, so everything done is for a purpose.

Interesting note is that this date is the same as next Monday. Now I am not a genius, but I think if you say the name of a date that correlates with a popular WWE program, it could make one think something is up. Warrior came into WWE and was said to have signed a long-term deal with the company around this time last year or shortly before, sadly he didn’t live to see it out. Sting most likely did similar and would probably appear on WWE RAW to promote the video game if nothing else.

Sting has never stepped foot in a WWE ring, which has made him unique to all other wrestling legends before him. Mostly all big names in Pro-Wrestling had at least some part in WWE or at least the old territory of it decades ago. Clearly Sting made his own name in WCW and then in TNA. Unlike people such as Warrior. Sting has stayed active and could most likely compete in matches with WWE at some point in the future.

WWE is without a RAW General Manager, and there is a need for a face Authority member. Could Sting be that man? Clearly he could work for it. He would not have to wrestle too much but he’d get to be on TV weekly. Fans would get to see him each week, and the schedule wouldn’t be too hard on the Icon.

What we know right now is that Sting was believed to have signed a a deal with the WWE in the last month or two. Sadly that was not confirmed as many outlets kept hearing conflicting stories. However, IF Sting appears on RAW next Monday we can easily can confirm he signed with the company. It would not just be with 2K Sports. WWE has hired crews for certain Sting-like material and 2K Sports has as well, so we know for a fact that Sting will be in the video game and most likely will go into the Hall of Fame next year. It’s only a matter of time to see him on RAW or a PPV.

WWE needs the ratings for RAW and having Sting on there would help a lot. We also know that WWE and 2K at least want him to appear to help Pre-Sales for the video game.

The sad part is that Sid Vicious, another popular past wrestler, also sent out a similar tweet. So that being said, we cannot confirm Sting will be on WWE RAW next week. It could also mean both men will be there, or Sid did this to help throw things off. It could mean nothing. Of course, this could all be a red herring to confuse us into thinking he’ll appear on RAW and not at Battleground. For now, it’s up in the air. The cool part is that we know Sting is coming. It’s just a waiting game now.
