‘Game Of Thrones’ Becomes More Interesting With Commentary By WWE Legend, Jim Ross

Everyone who is a WWE fan, for the last two decades or so, familiarize themselves when listening to WWE legend, Jim Ross, call matches. The WWE Hall of Famer is so unique and recognizable on the headset, that we here at The Inquisitr reported his commentary being dubbed over video games. The dub job was so good, we even went as far as to say that his commentary makes anything better. In that belief, we found this little gem hidden within the endless videos of Youtube that proves this. This time Jim Ross’s commentary was dubbed over epic scenes in the HBO hit series, Game of Thrones.

Uploaded by Riley Hamilton, the mind behind the website Adventures in BJJ, on his Youtube page, the video shows epic scenes from the first season of Game of Thrones dubbed with Jim Ross’s commentary from memorable matches. Scene-wise, this includes the time Eddard Stark was betrayed by Petyr Baelish (who is also known as “Little Finger”), the time Arya Stark overpowered Joffrey Baratheon with the help of her direwolf, and the fight between Ser Bronn of Blackwater and Ser Vardis Egen at the Eyrie.

As for Jim Ross’s commentary, most of it seems to be from the third Hell in a Cell at King of the Ring 1998, the infamous one where Undertaker wrestled Mankind. Why is that match infamous? First, Undertaker threw Mankind off the roof of the Hell in a Cell to a commentary table twenty feet down. Second, Mankind was choke slammed through the roof of the Hell in the Cell after coming back from his first fall. All in all, a very gruesome match… which also decided to include thumbtacks if both wrestlers thought it couldn’t get any more extreme.

What is unique about the cleverly edited video is that the fight scenes are unedited and so are Jim Ross’s commentary. This means that it took Riley Hamilton some time to fine the right Game of Thrones scene to dub with the right Jim Ross commentary. Now that’s dedication!
