Jessica Simpson’s Wedding Photo: First Photo Of Jessica’s Big Day Released

Jessica Simpson’s wedding photo has been released! People Magazine shared the first official portrait from Jessica’s big day. The singer married her longtime beau, Eric Johnson, in a gorgeous ceremony on July 5. The nuptials and reception took place at San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito in front of Jessica and Eric’s closest family and friends. Of course, everyone has been dying to see Jessica’s dress — rumor has it she helped design it — but in the photo, you can only see a small part of it.

Jessica wore her blonde hair half up and half down. The sexy hairstyle was created by stylist Roque Jimenez, who described the look at “sexy, easy, and ethereal” and “nothing too contrived.” Simpson wore a sheer veil that didn’t have any detail from what you can see in the photo. It was very simple — complimenting Simpson’s intricate gown.

Jessica Simpson’s wedding photo was easily just a tease of what’s to come. A sketch of Simpson’s gown — designed by fashion icon Carolina Herrera — was released by People Magazine on July 6. The champagne and gold hued strapless dress looks amazing. You can just see the very top of the gold swirl-like pattern in Simpson’s wedding portrait.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Jessica Simpson, 33, and Eric Johnson, said their “I do’s” in front of over 250 guests. The couple’s 1-year-old son, Ace, served as the ring bearer, while their daughter, Maxwell, 2, was the flower girl. The couple released the following statement:

“We are overwhelmed with a complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say ‘I do’ in front of family, friends and, most importantly our children, has been the happiest moment in our lives.”

Jessica Simpson’s wedding photo released by People is the only one of the bride so far. Entertainment Tonight posted some pics from inside the celebration, which was kept private (for the most part) thanks to huge white tents. As far as famous faces in attendance, Jess’ sister Ashlee was in the wedding and brought her fiance, Evan Ross, as her date. Actress Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren were there, as well as Donald Faison and his wife (Jessica’s BFF) CaCee Cobb.

It was a beautiful day to get married and Jessica and Eric were surrounded with so much love. It is unknown whether the newlyweds plan to take a honeymoon — or whether or not they will be taking their kids along.
