Kim Kardashian And Katie Couric Bury The Hatchet After Year Long Feud
It looks like the two newlyweds are ready to let bygones be bygones, but has Kim Kardashian decided to forgive Katie Couric for her previously disrespectful comments?
The whole feud started last year when Katie Couric simply asked the question that so many people ask about the Kardashians: why the Kardashians were famous. Kim took it personally and lashed back. Later in the year when Katie sent a baby present to Kim to celebrate the birth of North, who is now 1, Kim called Katie out:
“#IHateFakeMediaFriends. #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkSh*t”
But Us Weekly it seems that all that drama is behind Katie, who is now 57, and Kim, 33. The two were photographed together on the 4th of July while celebrating in the Hamptons. Kris Jenner shared the photo of Kim and Katie on Instagram. Christie Brinkley, supermodel and longtime Hamptons resident, Kris Jenner, and one of Kim’s close friends, Shelli, were also part of the photo.
In another photo, Christie Brinkley, Marlo Thomas, actress and philanthropist, and Kim Kardashian appear together. Christie captioned the photo:
“With Two Icons…That Girl, Marlo Thomas and that other girl who needs no introduction..@kimkardashian! Both were so sweet and charming! Proud Mom Kim showed me baby pictures of her most gorgeous baby, North.”
All of the Kardashian sisters were on hand to celebrate the 4th of July in the Hamptons, along with their momager Kris Jenner, but Rob Kardashian seemed notably absent from the gathering. The entire company arrived in the Hamptons in the last week of June and recently celebrated Khloe’s 30th birthday on a yacht.
It hasn’t been all fun and games for the group of ladies. Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris, and younger sisters Kendall and Kylie were recently spotted engaging in a family workout together. The group visited fitness guru Tracy Anderson’s studio earlier in the week to get a group exercise session under way. The Kardashian sisters and mom Kris are also in the Hamptons filming for their most recent spin-off Kim and Kourtney Take The Hamptons.
