Liam Hemsworth Raves About Miley Cyrus, Admits They’ll ‘Always Be Best Friends’

Liam Hemsworth has opened up about his split from Miley Cyrus, and he’s admitted that they “will always be best friends.”

Hemsworth and Cyrus split up back in August 2013, however the pair have managed to remain silent about each other since then. The Hunger Games actor has now been discussing his feelings towards the controversial singer, and it appears as though he is still enamored with her despite the disintegration of their relationship.

Hemsworth allegedly made his comments while he had dinner with friends at Puny, a restaurant in Portofino, Italy. According to The New York Post, Hemsworth was heard declaring that he and Miley will “always be best friends,” and he even confirmed that when they first met they had “an instantaneous and powerful connection.” The insider then added, “Liam kept raving about how amazing she was, how much they clicked and understood everything about each other.”

It appears as though Liam does have one issue with their split though, as he is still pining for his collection of furniture that he left at the apartment he shared with Cyrus.”He also said they bought a lot of furniture but he had to leave it behind when they broke up and he got his new place, which was furnished,” the source continued.

Meanwhile, it also sounds as if Liam is a little worried about his older brother, Chris, as he was also heard to state, “I hope he gets a job soon.” What makes Liam’s comments perplexing is the fact that Chris is currently filming Avengers: Age Of Ultron, the sequel to the third most successful film of all time, 2012’s The Avengers, plus he has his own Marvel franchise, Thor, which is set to return for a third instalment at some point in the next few years.

Despite these comments from Liam, it looks as though Miley is currently enjoying being single, as she continues to add raunchier and raunchier pictures to her social media websites — all of which her followers lap up eagerly.

Earlier this year Cyrus conceded that she enjoyed being engaged to Hemsworth for a year and a half. “I don’t think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn’t change being engaged,” she explained. “It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years,” she continued. “But now, I just feel like I can actually be happy. I wait for those moments of silence, when I’m just at my house, by myself.”
