Lily Allen Heads Out On Tour With Miley Cyrus

Lily Allen is getting ready to hit the road with Miley Cyrus.

The British singer, who recently dropped the Kanye West-inspired album Sheezus, will bring her unique skill set to the former Hannah Montana star’s legion of fans later this year. However, it’s unlikely Allen will straddle an inflatable penis during her time with Cyrus. Then again, stranger things have certainly happened.

Time reports that Lily Allen will open for Miley during seven shows on the seemingly endless Bangerz Tour. If you have tickets for any of the performances between August 1 and August 10, then you’ll get to see Lily Allen do her thing on-stage. Once she’s finished hanging out with Miley, she’ll embark on her own tour of North America.

Check out the upcoming tour dates below.

August 1 – Uniondale, New York – Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum
August 2 – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Wells Fargo Center
August 4 – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – CONSOL Energy Center
August 6 – Charlotte, North Carolina – Time Warner Cable Arena
August 7 – Nashville, Tennessee – Bridgestone Arena
August 9 – Louisville, Kentucky – KFC Yum! Center
August 10 – St Louis, Missouri – Scottrade Center

It’s also pretty obvious that Allen is beyond excited about the arrangement.

If you think this is an incredibly odd pairing, then you’re obviously not familiar with Lily Allen’s antics. According to Gigwise, the singer has a reputation for tossing around her fair share of expletives during live shows.

Here’s what the website had to say:

“Her Glastonbury set saw the sense of disorder she had promised from the performance last week, introducing ‘F**k You’ with a dedication to president of the FA Sebb Blatter by saying ‘This song is dedicated to the most annoyingly corrupt person in the world.’ The rest of her banter also possessed that cutting sense of approachable charm, whether she was asking ‘Is my camel-toe really prominent’ or audibly adjusting a wedgie on stage.”

Need more Lily Allen news to chew on? Check out her latest single “URL Badman,” a song that has to do with the bevy of horrible online comments the singer has received over the years. While most celebrities and entertainers try to avoid reading what internet trolls have to say, Allen apparently spent quite a bit of time taking it all in.

“I read it. I read it all, and they’re 90% horrible. Is that because everybody hates me? Or is it just an easy way for them to make themselves feel good, by saying something bad about someone else?” Lily Allen recently explained.
