Selena Gomez Calls Cops Over False Alarm Intrusion After Previous Trespass Incidents

Selena Gomez calls 911 over burglar fears on Sunday. On arrival, the police found no-one or any sign of forced entry. The incident comes after three cases of trespassers targeting the actress-singer this year.

Selena Gomez called 911 on Sunday, June 29, over fears that a burglar lay in wait inside her home, after finding her back door ajar when she returned.

As it turns out, police found no-one inside or signs of forced entry. The emergency call out comes after three cases of trespassers focusing on the Latina star and her homes this year.

According to TMZ, Selena returned to her Hidden Hills, Los Angeles home on Sunday just before midnight and discovered her back door was open.

Fearing the presence of an intruder, the 21-year-old “Come and Get It” singer called 911.

Upon arrival at Gomez’s $3 million plus pad, deputies searched the property but saw nothing untoward. In addition, there was no sign of forced entry.

The site notes it was thought Gomez may have left the door open herself and forgotten.

While Sunday turned out to be a false alarm, it’s understandable why Gomez is said to be freaked out.

In January, police arrested 19-year-old, Juan Daniel Garcia after he trespassed on Selena’s former Tarzana, California home. He was convicted and given 120 days in jail in February.

On March 30, transient Che Cruz, 20, was arrested for trespassing and burglary after he broke into the former Disney star’s property and hid in the guest house.

However, after pleading no contest to the misdemeanor of unlawfully entering a dwelling and receiving a sentence of 45 days in Los Angeles County Jail and a court order to stay away from Selena and her home for three years, because of jail overcrowding Cruz was released two days later.

He returned to Selena’s home less than a week later on April 4, where he jumped the fence and was arrested for trespass by police yet again.

On April 7, Cruz was charged with felony stalking and violating the court order to stay away from Gomez.

On June 20, he pleaded no contest to stalking Gomez was judge-ordered to stay in a mental health facility for at least 30 days.

Cruz was also ordered to stay 200 yards away from Selena and her home for the next ten years.

In between these cases, the starlet had a perimeter fence built around her home. However, these security measures don’t appear to have stopped her fears.

In other Gomez news, Mail Online reports Selena appeared to hide beneath a wide-brimmed hat when she stepped out in Hollywood on Monday, after photographs and video surfaced of her back-on boyfriend Justin Bieber hanging out with new face Kayla Phillips and old gal pal Chantel Jeffries over the weekend.

Bieber and Gomez have been spotted on a slew of dates since reuniting over two weeks ago and were thought to be “inseparable.”

Despite Bieber’s full-on weekend and snaps of Jeffries and her female friend leaving his new Beverly Hills condo block on Thursday and partying ever since, E! News! reported a source confirms Gomez and Bieber are still together,

The insider added, Jeffries and Bieber are “Just friends.”

However, Gomez may still have questions over Bieber and Phillips’ interaction, as her beau was seen kissing Kayla’s forehead during a Saturday trip to a Glendale, Los Angeles roller rink for singer Chris Brown’s First Annual Skate Jam Party to raise funds for his charity.

Jeffries rode as a passenger with Bieber in his yellow Lamborghini before he was arrested on suspicion of DUI in January.

Late Sunday/early Monday, Bieber also shared a likely naked selfie of himself, captioned: “Night.”

On Saturday, the singer posted then deleted an Instagram snap of Gomez which showed her in the same clothes she wore to a dinner and movie date with him on June 20.

Justin tagged it: “#Class.”

Apparently in reply, Gomez posted an Instagram photo on Monday with a lengthy caption on that very subject.

“Class never runs scared. It is sure-footed and confident, and it can handle whatever comes along. Class has a sense of humor,” she wrote.

Selena continued: “It knows that a good laugh is the best lubricant for oiling the machinery of human relations.”
