Rick Ross Isn’t Laughing At Chris Rock’s BET Awards Weight Joke
Rick Ross wasn’t one of the people having a laugh at the jokes Chris Rock made about the rapper’s weight during the BET Awards.
The former Saturday Night Live cast member took aim at quite a few people during his stint as host. In addition to making fun of Los Angeles Clippers’ owner Donald Sterling, Rock took a moment to poke a little fun at Ross’ weight. Not surprisingly, Rick wasn’t overly thrilled with the comedian’s barb.
“Dre has Beats, Rick Ross has DiaBEATS,” Rock joked, adding that Ross is on-track to become “the first rapper to die of breast cancer.”
The Source reports that Chris offered to get Rick a salad while handing out chicken and waffles during the awards ceremony.
Since Ross is incredibly busy trying to shed some of those unwanted pounds, he wasn’t at all thrilled that the comedian decided to use his weight to generate some chuckles. Instead of ignoring the comments and going about his business, Ross decided to address the situation with a short — and admittedly weak — response on Twitter.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Rick Ross recently shed around 100 pounds after undergoing stomach band surgery. According to sources, quite a few people took notice of the guy’s leaner physique.
An insider told AllHipHop:
“I saw a bunch of tweets and other social activity but the main thing people have been talking about is Rick Ross’ weight loss. I don’t think people will be able to make over weight jokes for long. He looks like he may have lost like 100 pounds or something dramatic. Of course, that leads to people talking about how he lost the weight. This much, we don’t know. But he doesn’t look like he’s been to Wing Stop anytime recently.”
Unfortunately for Ross, the procedure is seriously preventing the guy from enjoying his food. Going forward, he’ll need to cut back on the amount of lemon pepper chicken he consumes in one sitting.
“[Ross] can’t really eat after he had [the procedure]. If he eats more than about 4 or 5 wings he THROWS UP cause his stomach is too small. He can still drink, but he can’t really eat like he used to anymore.”
