‘Pretty Little Liars’ Star Lucy Hale Breaks Up With Boyfriend Joel Crouse

Lucy Hale and country singer Joel Crouse have broken up after dating for a couple of months. The Pretty Little Liars actress was growing too busy to have a relationship at the moment. A source told Us Weekly, “It was hard with the distance.”

While another source claimed, “She’s working a lot on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and on music… it got to be too much… [Lucy Hale has] no time for love right now.”

The 25-year-old Lucy Hale has most certainly been as busy as they say. She recently had the opportunity to perform songs from her debut album Road Between at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on June 21st.

In fact, Lucy debuted her new single, “Lie a Little Better,” that night, which is rumored to be about one of her Pretty Little Liars male costar, specifically her crush on him. In fact, when asked who she thought was the hottest man in country music at the moment, she dropped names like Brett Eldredge and Luke Bryan, instead of country singer boyfriend Joel Crouse.

When the rising songstress isn’t busy performing and advertising her new album, she’s starring as Aria Montgomery in ABC’s hit show Pretty Little Liars. The fifth season of the show premiered June 10, and it was recently announced that the show had been renewed for a sixth and seventh season. The new season features Lucy Hale’s character Aria in a love triangle with Ian Harding’s Ezra Fitz and friend Sasha Pieterse’s Alison DiLaurentis.

While Lucy Hale and Joel Crouse had only been dating for a short time, there were rumors of an engagement just two weeks ago. Lucy had her arm around Joel in a photo, with her left ring finger sporting what looked to be an engagement ring. Sources recently cleared up the rumor saying, “They are seeing each other… It isn’t anything serious just yet.”

The couple was spotted at Lakers game not too long after, but it looks like Lucy Hale’s busy schedule will be too much for the young pair. In fact, now ex-boyfriend Joel Crouse is also working on his new album Even the River Runs, which is projected to be released August 19 of this year.

Lucy Hale has been linked to The Amazing Spiderman actor Chris Zylka in the past, but it looks like she will be taking a break from relationships for now.
