Man Denied Noodles Slits Victim’s Throat and Rips Out His Heart [Report]

A refusal to share a bowl of noodles reportedly turned deadly in China.

The apparently very hungry man who was rebuffed in his quest for noodles allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed the throat of a second man who wouldn’t share. He then sliced open the victim’s chest and bit into the victim’s still-beating heart.

Said one witness to the fatal attack on the victim, age 48, which was preceded by an argument over the noodles, “He sliced the man open like he was a bag of rice, and pulled his heart out in front of us all, I swear it was still beating. Several people fainted, I wish I could have fainted. I can’t stop seeing it even when I close my eyes,” the Daily Star reports.

The bloody and horrifying incident in front of many witnesses occurred on Wednesday morning in the city of Suizhou in Hubei province.

The suspect, 29, did not flee the scene even though police took almost an hour to respond. “People all gathered around to watch the attack but no one dared to stop the attacker, according to witnesses, who added that the suspect did not run away after committing the crime ‘but wandered around the site and sat down with the heart in his hands.’ After 40 minutes, the police arrived and arrested him.”

Cops reportedly described the suspect as a psychopath. Residents of the area are demanding more police protection to prevent similar violent acts in the future.

Separately, as The Inquisitr previously reported, a crazed man armed with a meat cleaver went on a rampage on a Chinese school playground recently. The incident also took place in Hubei province, but in the city of Macheng. Although there were injuries from lacerations, no child was killed, fortunately.

The value of the bowl of noodles that resulted in the fatal attack is estimated to be about one U.S. dollar.
