Miley Cyrus Is Role Model For Honey Boo Boo: Is She Too Young To ‘Twerk?’

It’s a little difficult to comprehend that Miley Cyrus could be a role model for anyone. However, if the recent report on the website Celeb Dirty Laundry is true, then 9-year-old Alana Thompson (aka Honey Boo Boo) is one of her greatest admirers!

Just in case you are temporarily visiting from another planet, you may not have heard of the popular TV reality series Here Come Honey Boo Boo, now in its fourth season on TLC.

Actually, this show is what’s known as a “spinoff” from the original series called Toddlers and Tiaras, which also featured Alana and her family. The new show is, of course, centered around Alana’s character of Honey Boo Boo.

Now, every parent knows that is is perfectly normal for kids to seek to emulate famous celebrities, and Alana has apparently decided that Miley Cyrus is her choice of role model. Sources have confided that the fame thing has got to Alana, and she is morphing from a sweet adorable little girl into someone not quite so nice.

The problem with Alana is that she is seeking to parallel how Miley Cyrus went from being the sweet Hannah Montana on the Disney Chanel, to what she has become today. A larger than life celebrity who really learned how to grab media attention, becoming steadily more outrageous with each appearance. Difficult to remember that, when Miley first started out as a tween girl on television, she was so nice, innocent, and likable.

But Alana has begun her transformation at a much younger age than Miley. She’s rapidly developing a reputation for being a bit of a spoiled brat. At least, that’s what showed up in the transmission of The Tonight Show she recently taped. But the audience saw the situation in the studio from a different perspective.

It was clear to them that Alana didn’t really want to be there, and she even smacked her mother, causing host Jimmy Fallon, to tell her off! What would Miley Cyrus have made of that?

The sad element in this example is that we forget that this is a 9-year-old kid grappling with celebrity status and how to handle it. Fast forward five years and the prospects are frightening.

Some might think that choosing Miley Cyrus as her role model is terrifying!
