Tim McGraw And Faith Hill Divorce Rumors Persist Despite Tim’s Vow To Change

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are facing a new round of divorce rumors after reports of Tim’s out of control partying and flirting.

Sources say that McGraw’s drinking has gotten so bad that he was losing self-control, leading him to flirt with other women.

He has since reportedly stepped back, vowing to take it easier in a bid to keep Faith Hill from leaving him.

“She wasn’t going to stand by while he killed himself,” a source told the National Enquirer. “Tim begged Faith not to leave him — within days, he quit drugs and alcohol cold turkey! Faith began calling the shots in his life and staged an intervention — telling him what he needed to do if he wanted to keep his family together.”

Tim McGraw recently opened up about his marriage, getting emotional when talking about Faith Hill in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. He also admitted that his drinking had gotten out of control.

But the National Enquirer said the drinking admission only “scratched the surface,” noting that Tim McGraw’s problems ran much deeper than he let on.

“When Tim hit it big in country music in the early 1990s, Nashville was awash in drugs, especially cocaine,” an insider said. “The money was rolling in and it was no secret around Nashville that Tim was a drug user, but when you’re a big star, it gets swept under the rug.

“Tim would drink beer, tequila and whiskey with his pals, and then would use drugs to keep the party going all night. He’d be so loaded he’d start flirting with women, or somebody would look at him the wrong way and he’d be ready to start a brawl. More than one person saw the road Tim was going down and told him, ‘Son, you’re not living long like this.'”

McGraw and Hill have seen divorce rumors in the past. There were reports last summer that Faith was ready to leave him, and other reports that he had an affair with country singer Taylor Swift.

Though reports say Tim McGraw has gone all out to prevent Faith Hill from filing for divorce, rumors still persist that the couple is headed for a split and sources indicate that may only be a matter of time before they divorce.
