Hunter Hayes has been added to the list of artists performing at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s 75th Anniversary concert. The concert will take place on August 2 at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, New York. Other artists set to perform include Paul Simon, the Boston Pops, Yolanda Williams, and Juan Luis Guerra. Several Hall of Fame members will also make an appearance, such as Ozzie Smith and Rod Carew.

The 22 year old country singer will perform three songs with the accompaniment of the Boston Pops. With four Grammy nominations and a CMA award under his belt, Hunter Hayes will fit in perfectly with the multiple Grammy winners also set to perform. Hall of Fame President Jeff Idelson commented:

Hunter plays 30 instruments, writes, sings, and is wildly popular. His music career is well on its way to the top.”

Hunter Hayes is signed to Atlantic Records in Nashville. The multi-instrumentalist released his self-titled debut album, Hunter Hayes, in 2011, and sold over 3.5 million copies of it. Louisiana native Hunter Hayes wrote or co-wrote every song on said album. According to Hunter’s website:

“Since the release of Hunter Hayes, the singer-songwriter has embarked on a blitzkrieg of television appearances. He has sung on The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Talk, E! News, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Hunter Hayes also performed a duet with Danielle Bradbery on season four of The Voice. The two performed “I Want Crazy” from the deluxe edition of Hunter Hayes(Encore). In 2012, Hunter Hayes performed at the CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock and his single, “Wanted,” reached double-platinum status. Hunter Hayes is also the youngest musician to ever be inducted into the Louisiana Hall of Fame.

The celebration of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s 75th anniversary will involve collaboration with the Grammy Museum as well. While the concert will not start until 8PM, other events will be taking place in Clark Sports Center before the musicians take center stage. In addition to Hunter Hayes, other notable figures in television, music, and of course, baseball, will be present at the event produced by LGH19 Productions. A silent auction is also taking place to raise money for the Hall of Fame.

The event will take place in pastoral Cooperstown, the symbolic home of baseball. Hunter Hayes will perform at the two hour concert at the event. Tickets to the event can be purchased at http://cooperstownconcert.com/.
