The Museum Of Sex Now Featuring A ‘Giant Boobie Bounce Castle’ Through 2015

New York City sure is becoming a central hub for gender and sexual liberation. Just on the Inquisitr alone, we reported how the Free the Nipple movement is making strides there, especially with Scout Willis. She even expressed that freeing the nipple is related to freeing women. True this movement is not limited to New York City, as proven by Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus, it just seems to be the primary setting for the most prominent stories for the movement.

Now something new of a sexual liberating nature has been introduced in the city, specifically in the Museum of Sex: a giant boobie bounce castle!

According to a report by Nerdcore, the giant boobie bounce castle is just part of the new installation at the Museum of Sex humorously titled, “Funland”. The pleasures and perils of the erotic playground were created by renowned London-based conceptual artist duo, Bompas & Parr. Funland includes a feature selection of “carnival attractions” for the audience to enjoy and experience while they contemplate the sexual subtext of the “carnival” itself. Along with the giant boobie bounce castle, which is known as the “Jump for Joy”, there is a climbing wall of orifices and appendages (which is a very safe and sanitary explanation) know as “Grope Mountain” and their version of the Tunnel of Love, which is a mirrored labyrinth that leads patrons on a climactic journey to the G-Spot.

In a follow-up article by Dangerous Minds, the Museum of Sex exhibit will be open through 2015. It doesn’t exactly state how long through 2015 it will be but if it is taking account the entire year, then patrons who find this form of entertainment… well… entertaining will have just a little over a year and a half to indulge in all the sexually-based carnival attractions. There is also no word if “Funland” will be over once 2015 passes by or if its just moving to another location.

Personally, this is a surprise for me since I know Bompas & Parr to be artistic in combining food, architecture, and color. Some of their most impressive feats of conceptual art include making the first glow-in-the-dark Cornetto, a UK ice cream brand, and the Ziggurat of Flavour. Them doing something like this is new to me, but I can see the art in it. At its core however, “Funland” is simply just carnival rides and attractions with a cover that is made to induce a reaction, and knowing Bompas & Parr and how people still view sexuality as a public taboo, it will.
