Lil Wayne Might Appear On Nicki Minaj’s ‘The Pink Print’

There’s a strong possibility that Lil Wayne could appear on Nick Minaj’s upcoming album, The Pink Print. However, don’t start holding your breath just yet.

The best way to get people buzzing about your latest musical endeavor is to namecheck folks who might lend their talents to the project. Minaj recently revealed that Lil Wayne was really jazzed about one of the songs she put together, so much so that he wanted to add his own verse to it. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much where this story ends.

Fuse reports that Nicki wants The Pink Print to serve as a kind of blueprint for up and coming female rappers. To get everyone as excited about her new record, she intends to start releasing songs in the coming weeks. Those hoping to hear Lil Wayne’s voice on one of these tracks will have to wait patiently for the tunes to arrive.

Minaj said of Weezy’s involvement with the album:

“I sent him something he liked, but I didn’t hear his verse yet. But I think overall my connection with Wayne is so deep that I don’t gotta be on his album and he don’t gotta be on my album for him to always play a role of mentor in my life.”

Considering Nicki and Lil Wayne have teamed up in the past, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if the rapper decided to lend her a helping hand. After all, it’s painfully clear that Weezy doesn’t have any plans to stop rapping anytime soon.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Lil Wayne intends to drop no less than two full-length albums before the end of the year. Although we don’t have a proper release date for Tha Carter V as of this writing, this isn’t stopping the guy from dishing about the other projects he has looming on the horizon.

Lil Wayne recently told Stack:

“This year, not only will I be dropping ‘Tha Carter V,’ but I’m dropping two albums. Be looking forward to two albums, two albums from me because… I been out the game for a second. I went to work on ‘Tha Carter V’ and I don’t stop working, so it was either ‘Tha Carter V’ gonna be 93 songs, or we’re gonna have to figure this out. So what we said was, ‘Alright, we’re going to drop two albums this year, then we’re going to probably end up dropping like seven next year.'”
