Kate Gosselin Cry: Mom Of 8 Kate Admits She Cries Behind Closed Doors [Video]

Kate Gosselin has a good cry every now and again — but she wouldn’t let the world see it. The reality television star recently revealed that she is very emotional about her situation, and that she breaks down from time to time like everyone else. According to People Magazine, Kate isn’t always in complete control. She has her moments, even if she doesn’t let everyone see her break down.

In a new clip from an upcoming episode of Kate Plus 8, Kate says:

“I’m one of many single moms out there. It’s not ideal. On a very busy day where the logistics aren’t lining up – I have to be here to pick this kid up and I have to be there to do whatever, that happens so often now I can’t even tell you.”

Kate Gosselin can’t help but cry sometimes — but she is not alone. There are plenty of moms out there that just need a minute to let it all out. Some moms feel like they are failing or that they aren’t doing a good enough job raising their little ones — that’s normal, and it’s part of the process.

Kate adds:

“It was never my intent to portray myself as superwoman. I mean, I cry behind closed doors, I struggle. But I have to remind myself, this is my one shot. You’re going to mess up. Just don’t give up.”

Kate Gosselin’s cry comment is getting tons of criticism, mainly because a lot of people don’t like her. In her defense, however, Kate has been raising eight children on her own since 2009. She has two 13-year-olds and six 10-year-olds, which is, no question, a lot of kids. However, Kate seems to manage and her children seem well-adjusted. Criticize Kate all you want, but she certainly has eight wonderfully bright, very sweet kids that she has helped mold.

Kate’s ex-husband, Jon Gosselin, has chosen to stay out of the public eye since he outwardly denounced reality television several years ago (forget the fact that he signed on to do Couples Therapy on VH1). He still sees his kids on a set schedule that he and Kate have worked out, but it seems clear that he’s not around as much as he’d like to be. Both parents seem to be doing the best that they can given the current circumstances.

So what, exactly, makes Kate Gosselin cry? Think about it. The responsibility for providing for eight children falls squarely on her shoulders. Her ex might be around, but there isn’t nearly as much pressure on him as there is on Kate.

She says:

“It’s really easy to feel like just saying, ‘It’s too much. There’s me and there’s eight kids.’ I don’t think an hour goes by that I’m not reminded that those odds are completely unbalanced.”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Jon Gosselin is still at war with Kate — just because you don’t read about it every day, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
