Helen Mirren, 66 Years Old, Named “Body of the Year”
In one of the greatest upsets of the year, thus far, 66-year-old English actress Helen Mirren has been voted ‘Body of the Year’, handily beating Pippa Middleton and Jennifer Lopez in the process.
In the yearly conducted L.A. Fitness poll, over 2,000 gym members were asked to name the top male and female celebrity bodies in the world.
Upon tallying the results, Mirren surprisingly scored the top spot in the female category with nearly 18% of the vote, putting supermodel Elle MacPherson in at a distant second with 10%.
Meanwhile, in the male category, new father David Beckham was “best body” champion with 21% of the vote, followed by James Bond star Daniel Craig and Pirates of the Caribbean‘s Johnny Depp.
