Big Brother 16 spoilers reveal that the show is off to a controversial start without having aired a single episode.
The popular CBS reality show is making headlines this week after some racist comments were uncovered on an Instagram page belonging to contestant Caleb Reynolds. The 26-year-old army veteran made the post back in 2012, when President Obama was re-elected.
In it, he manages to disparage Muslims, homosexuals, and African-Americans.
In the post, Reynolds wrote: “Yeah for Obama, he gets to shred this country apart for another four years. Only God can help us now.”
After another commenter disagreed, Big Brother 16 contestant Caleb Reynolds responded:
“You believe in murder? You agree with fags? I guess so but I don’t agree with murdering an innocent baby which he clearly doesn’t mind. Nothin has changed in the last four years. You know it. Your just a democrat who wants that Muslim monkey in office. I’m done with you. You’re dismissed.”
The Big Brother 16 controversy may seem familiar to fans of the show. Last season, several houseguests were caught making racist and homophobic statements, prompting CBS to add a disclaimer that it did not agree with statements made by the contestants.
There was reportedly more evidence of racism from Caleb Reynolds. TVGrapeVine, which follows the show’s live feeds and reports on Big Brother 16 spoilers, noted that the contestant was also seen making racist comments on YouTube videos.
The report noted:
“Also there’s a you-tube video of his which apparently he uses variations of the N word. By the time I found it, it had been removed so I didn’t get to see it. So…I guess it’s official. We have at least one racist bigot this season, Drama is on the way for sure!.”
Reynolds, a Dallas native, said he came into the Big Brother 16 house with a plan to play the women in the game.
“I will make sure I have the ladies in my pocket,” he says on his CBS bio. “Throwing a sexy girl that likes me under the bus will be hard but I will do what I have to do, so kiss me, lay with me, have sex with me, tell me you love me, I’m still in it to win.”
Caleb Reynolds added that he envisioned himself as a fan favorite in Big Brother 16, noting, “I am the house guest you want to cheer for because I believe I’m going to make some good TV.”
