Liam Payne Accepts Marriage Proposal During Charity Event
Liam Payne accepted a marriage proposal from one of his adoring fans at a recent charity event in the UK.
The One Direction fellas spent some time with the folks at the Rays of Sunshine charity, an organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses. During a Q&A session, one fan decided to pop the question to Payne. The smiling singer said he was more than happy to oblige.
According to Sugarscape, 16-year-old Ellie-Mae Morgan, who is suffering from a rare brain condition, wanted nothing more than to tie the knot with Liam Payne. During the event, she had her mom ask for the singer’s hand in marriage. Proving that he’s an extremely lovely person, Payne accepted her offer.
“I am currently available for marriage. I will see you tomorrow. We’ll have it at Buckingham Palace,” Payne told the teenager.
Entertainmentwise reports that Liam Payne’s response to the wedding proposal made Ellie-Mae extremely happy. Her mom said that her daughter thoroughly enjoyed the time she spent with the One Direction guys at the Rays of Sunshine event.
“Ellie had just the best day ever. She didn’t stop smiling. They are all really lovely boys and just normal lads,” the girl’s mother explained.
Judging from the tons of comments floating around on Twitter at the moment, there are tons of people who are lining up to walk down the aisle with Liam. Some of these folks are a bit more obsessed than others.

Liam Payne seems to spread all sorts of sunshine wherever he goes these days. When he isn’t making his fans swoon, the singer is winning over other recording artists. Unreality TV reports that Payne made a very good impression on Austin Mahone, who believes that Liam is an extremely swell guy.
Mahone explained during a recent interview:
“I sat next to them at the VMAs, that was pretty cool. They were just chilling, they’re like nice guys. I think Liam [Payne] is the coolest. I just think he is the nicest.”
Say what you will about One Direction and their music, but Liam Payne proved once again that the group is all about the fans. Good job, fellas.
