Longest Car Jump Record Attempt Ends In Horrible Crash, GoPro Cameras Shows Us More [Video]

The longest car jump record attempt earlier this year ended in a horrible crash, but now a GoPro Camer video gives an inside look at just how terrifying this accident was from inside the vehicle.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, another GoPro video has a base jumping dog named Whisper strapped to his owner in a custom wingsuit. Although the fearless canine follows his owner up onto treacherous mountain cliffs some people believe the owner was being cruel to his pet by taking the dog base jumping. There’s also GoPro videos of a man suffering a motorcycle crash at 140 MPH and barely surviving. But if you are looking for something cute I would suggest checking out the video where a GoPro camera is strapped to a little baby.

Guerlain Chicherit is the French driver, skier, and rally racer who attempted to beat the Guinness World Record for the longest car jump of 332 feet which was set by Tanner Foust in a modified MINI Countryman rally car. Chicherit had planned on launching himself for 360 feet but things did not exactly go as planned.

The attempt at the world’s longest car jump seemed to be going well at first on the jump the landing was what was the killer. Toward the end of the jump the nose of his vehicle drooped down and dived into the ramp, causing the vehicle to flip end over end before coming to a rest on its side.

Although the longest car jump crash looks scary as anything the amazing part is that Chicherit emerged from his MINI under his own power and even the hospitals cleared him with a MRI. He escaped with only a few minor injures and is probably set on attempting the world’s longest car jump record once again.
