Federica Giacomini: Missing Porn Star Ginevra Hollander Found Dismembered In Italian Lake

Federica Giacomini was found dismembered and stuffed into a suitcase in an Italian lake, bringing an end to the mystery of what happened to the 43-year-old porn star known as Ginevra Hollander.

Giacomini was reported missing for the last five months, with authorities turning up little clues as to her whereabouts. They said her bank accounts were untouched and her phone turned off since she went missing earlier this year.

But a tip led them to Lake Garda, a holiday location in Northern Italy.

“Following a tip-off that someone had been seen dumping a large object in the lake a search of the area was carried out and the trunk recovered,” a police spokesman said.

Inside they found a body that had been dismembered and wrapped in plastic.

“Inside there were several black plastic bags, wrapped with Sellotape and containing human body parts – sadly we believe it to be the body of Federica and an autopsy is being carried out,” police said.

Police have interviewed the former partner of Ginerva Hollander, a 55-year-old named Franco Mossoni. Last year he stormed through a hospital waving a gun and dressed as Rambo, The Sun reported.

Massoni, who was recently released from prison for a 1978 murder, is being detained in a psychiatric unit.

It was not immediately clear if Massoni had been charged with Giacomini’s death.

Frederica Giacomini is not the only adult film star to meet an untimely demise lately. American actor Billy Glide was killed last month after being bitten by a rattlesnake and refusing medical treatment.

Glide was helping a friend move when a pet snake bit him.

“I’ve known Billy my entire career,” friend and fellow performer Alana Evans told AVN. “He was part of the reason I got into the business. To hear this kind of news is just so shocking and sad.”

Federica Giacomini starred as Ginevra Hollander in several adult films including Double Pleasure 3, Black Panther, and Escort.
