Marc Anthony And Jennifer Lopez Team Up To Keep Paparazzi From Their Children

Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez may have taken quite a while to make their divorce official, but the singers are on the same page when it comes to shielding their children from the pressures of Hollywood.

The couple, who broke up in 2011, just had their divorce finalized this week, with a judge awarding joint legal custody of their 6-year-old twins. The pair had come to an agreement that Lopez would care for the son and daughter most of the time, with Marc Anthony taking care of them for seven days a month.

Neither will pay child support.

The couple also came to an agreement to do everything they could to shield children from paparazzi and reporters. In the aggrement, the couple noted that “exposing the children to public spectacle and failing to shield the children from aggressive news organizations, photographers, etc. is not the children’s best interest.”

Marc Anthony filed for divorce in April 2012, close to one full year after they first separated.

Since their split, both singers have moved on. Jennifer Lopez started dating Casper Smart, though the pair recently broke up after more than two years together.

There have also been reports that the actress and singer has been cozying up to Dancing With The Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, a rumor that J. Lo herself denied.

“No I’m not. #rumors #nottrue” Lopez tweeted in response to a radio station claiming she had a new man.

Sources say that Lopez and Maks are just friends.

“He danced with her at the [American Music Awards last November] and they kept in touch,” a friend of the singer’s told People magazine.

Another source who knows both Maks and J. Lo added: “They are friends and have been talking.”

Marc Antony has been busy as well, including the successful release of his latest Spanish album, 3.0.
