Molotov Cocktail Used To Attack Texas Based Planned Parenthood Clinic

The Planned Parenthood location in McKinney, Texas was attacked on Tuesday night with a Molotov cocktail that caused a small fire in the buildings entrance. The cocktail was created using diesel fuel in a glass bottle with a rag fuse and thankfully it did not cause any injuries.

It should be noted that the attacked clinic does not offer abortion procedures.

Holly Morgan, director of media relations and communications for Planned Parenthood in Dallas told the Star Local News:

“It didn’t penetrate the health center office and none of the staff or patients were there, which is great,” while she added, “It scorched the outside of the door and I believe there was a little scorching to the retail locations on either side of it.”

The use of a molotov cocktail at Planned Parenthood locations is not a new practice, in 2010 a Madera, California office was closed for two days after a similar attack.

According to the National Abortion Federation, in 2010 abortion clinics in the United States and Canada were witness to 96 incidences of violence which included murder, death threats, vandalism, arson and bombings including murder, death threats, vandalism, arson and bombing.

No other information has been released at this time.
