Beyonce’s Father’s Day Message To Jay-Z: Standing By Her Man Despite Cheating Rumors
Beyonce may be taking notes from Tammy Wynette and has chosen to stand by her man and show him support on Father’s Day. Yesterday, the Queen Bey, 32, posted a photo of daughter, Blue Ivy and her dad Jay-Z, who is 44. Along with the picture, Beyonce simply said, ‘Happy Father’s Day.’ The photo reeled in a whopping 700,000 ‘likes’ almost immediately.
The photo shows up just in time to dispel rumors that Jay and Bey have been cheating on one another and that the hip-hop power couple are headed for divorce. Several of these speculations arose after the Solange/Jay-Z elevator confrontation after the Met Ball in which Solange is shown hitting and kicking Jay-Z. The family later released a statement saying that it was a private family matter and since then everyone involved has made nice.
In the gossip columns and the tabloids Jay-Z has allegedly been linked romantically to several different women. One rumor says that Jay-Z and Rihanna are having an affair while others have linked him to designer Rachel Roy and Casey Cohen. Reportedly Beyonce has been seen canoodling with her bodygaurd Julius de Boer. Sources close to the couple have denounced these rumors and say that the two ares perfectly happy.
Still, Casey Cohen has retained legal counsel, who calls the rumors about her involvement with rap mogul Jay-Z, “a foul and phony mistress-rumor,” and that Jay and Cohen “have never been in love or intimate.”
The lawyer also released a “cease and desist” order stating that while Cohen has met Beyonce and Jay-Z at a club in which she works, any rumors of infidelity on the part of Jay-Z and herself are completely untrue. Cohen has also stated through her attorney that she is calling Bauer Publishing, the publisher for InTouch magazine, to apologize to Mr. and Mrs. Carter. According to the report, InTouch was the first publication to publish the rumors about Jay and Casey. Finally, as part of the legal action, Cohen’s lawyer also wants any incriminating or questionable footage to be removed from the InTouch database.
In unrelated news, Jay-Z recently teamed up with Beats Music to release a remix of his single “Jungle.” The remix originally debuted during the NBA finals game five between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs and received a relatively positive critical reception, according to Billboard magazine.
