‘Teen Wolf’ Season 4 Will Feature Plenty Of ‘Death And Destruction’

Teen Wolf fans better prepare themselves for all sorts of “death and destruction” during season 4. Prepare memorials for your favorite characters accordingly.

If you don’t want to know anything about the upcoming season of MTV’s popular werewolf series, then you might want to stay away from this article. Series creator Jeff Davis tosses out a few teasers about Teen Wolf season 4 that may seriously color your expectations. To avoid that from happening, we’re giving you an opportunity to bail out now. Consider this your final warning on the matter.

During his chat with Access Hollywood, Davis explained that the next batch of Teen Wolf episodes will feature plenty of drama. In addition to creating “new relationships and dynamics,” Jeff said viewers should anticipate a lot of death. He didn’t dive into specifics, but we’re almost certain it has something to do with the mysterious Benefactor.

The Teen Wolf creator dished:

“A lot more death and destruction for our town Beacon Hills! There’s a central, core mystery. It’s all based around a hit list that our supernatural creatures find themselves on… We call it a season of assassins and bounty hunters. There will be a lot more danger for our characters.”

Davis also touched on the continued popularity of Teen Wolf on social media. When Crystal Reed decided to say goodbye to the series last season, tons of fans expressed their sadness on Twitter. Rest in peace, Allison Argent.

The series creator said:

“It’s kind of incredible how important social media has become for shows like ours, especially shows on cable tv that don’t necessarily get the huge media push that [shows on] broadcast networks do. I love hearing the stories about [how] people are connecting on Twitter about the show.”

It seems like Teen Wolf fanatics will have plenty things to discuss this season. Davis previously told Buzzfeed that every character in Beacon Hills could meet their maker over the course of season 4. Don’t get too attached to anyone — you never know when their number might come up. Try not to bite your nails too much.

Davis teased:

“We call it The Dead Pool. It’s a list of names, a list of all the various kinds of supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills — it’s essentially a hit list — and all of their names are on it. The mystery is, Who is this person paying out for the supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills to be murdered? Who is The Benefactor?”

Teen Wolf season 4 is right around the corner. The new episodes kick off on Monday, June 23. Which character do you think will bite the dust?
