John Legend And Chrissy Teigen Rescue Abused Three-Legged Dog [Photos]
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen recently came to the rescue of a dog who definitely needed a little tender loving care.
If you need further proof that Legend is an all-around fabulous guy, then check out photos of the singer and his new best friend: a three-legged dog named Penny. The black French bulldog pup was previously owned by folks who Chrissy described as “buttheads.” Although details about the poor dog’s abusive history are sketchy, it’s clear that John and his wife are ready to shower her with love.
According to The Huffington Post, John Legend recently returned home from South Carolina with the latest addition to their family. The couple already care for two canines named Puddy and Pippa. It sounds like Penny will fit right in.
Teigen recent told People magazine:
“She’s a little tripod. She has been abused, and we are so excited to welcome her to the family. If dogs are the starters for babies, we should have three or four babies by now. I like to think of ourselves as working on babies all the time. And working on getting dogs all the time.”
Judging from some of Chrissy’s Twitter posts prior to John’s arrival, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model couldn’t wait to see the three-legged dog. She also had a few choice words for the people who previously “cared” for Penny.
“I won’t get too into it but let’s just say her first family were buttheads and we are happy to shower her with love for the rest of time! She is such a little light of energy and I can’t wait to meet her tonight. John on a plane with her now!”

It’s pretty obvious from these photos that John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are madly in love with the new addition to their family. Kudos to the couple for giving this three-legged dog another opportunity to live a fantastic life.
