Liam Payne Shares Some Details About One Direction’s New Fragrance [Video]
Liam Payne and the One Direction fellas really want you to smell good.
Since the singers love making money, the guys are taking another stab at the fragrance market. Although Payne and the boys released their first branded scent last year, they’re getting ready to unveil another product in the near future. Instead of hiring a pricy promotional team to get the word out, Liam recorded a friendly message for the fans.
According to Hollywood Life, One Direction’s new fragrance should arrive at some point later this year. To let everyone know about their latest merchandising endeavor, Payne planted himself in front of a camera and spilled the beans about the product.
“Hi guys, so we’ve got some really, really big news for you. We have a new fragrance coming out. It’s coming out later this summer called You & I,” Payne explained.
He added, “We’ve worked really hard on it and tried to find a scent that we all like, and we worked really hard on designing the packaging and the bottle as well, so we can’t wait for you guys to see it. Enjoy.”
There’s a very good reason by Liam Payne and his bandmates are putting together a new fragrance less than a year after they dropped the original. Digital Spy points out that Our Moment was widely successful when it arrive in August of 2013.

Modest! Management’s Faye Langworthy told the website last year:
“The success of Our Moment is something One Direction are very proud of. The incredible level of sales we’ve seen so far of Our Moment and the overwhelming feedback given by fans is a reflection of the band’s involvement in every stage of its creation and their desire to make a personal and unique product for their fans.”
If all goes according to the group’s master plan, then You & I isn’t the only thing Liam Payne’s fans can spend their money on this year. The band is reportedly hard at work on their next album, which should hit retail shelves before the end of the year. Payne seems to think the new record will put haters in their place.
“People say we don’t work hard and it’s all a game and whatever. We just wanna make good music, and this album — honestly, every lad out there tonight who’s thinking One Direction are this and that. Literally, next album — pick up our album and see what you feel,” he explained not too long ago.
