Anna Kendrick Says No One Hits On Her

Guys and girls need to step up their game because no one is hitting on Anna Kendrick. The Pitch Perfect star, who was nominated for a Tony at a young age, and broke out on the screen in hits like Up in the Air, Scott Pilgrim, and 50/50 is getting a lot of attention these days, but not the kind you would think upon glancing at a picture.

These days Kendrick is getting attention from studios and Hollywood directors, and for Anna her success in the industry doesn’t necessarily attract men. According to Kendrick she downplays any sex appeal because she’s probably not the kind of girl one would find on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

In an interview with Elle, Kendrick describes her unique type of sex appeal.

This lack of ego, coupled with the stealth hourglass shape, the porcelain skin, and the smart mouth, add up to a very specific kind of sex appeal. Kendrick, who hasn’t publicly dated since she and Edgar Wright broke up last year, says she hasn’t been hit on since Up in the Air, “honest to God.”

So does this mean Kendrick has to do another film opposite George Clooney to get some male attention? Probably not –according to the Pitch Perfect stay she has traded on her looks.

“I’ve never felt like I’ve exactly traded on my looks. When I was a teenager, I was an ultra late bloomer, and my mom would say it was a blessing, because it means you never have to wonder if guys are only interested in you because you’ve got boobs. I would have been thrilled if guys were interested in me because of my boobs!”

The ultra late bloomer continued to explain her position in Hollywood:

“Similarly, I think I’m lucky that I’ve never had a crisis about whether the only reason I’m successful is because I’m crazy hot. It’s not something that crosses my mind.”

So in reality even though Anna Kendrick isn’t getting hit on, she doesn’t seem concerned because she’s too busy thanking her lucky stars that she’s not Kate Upton or a Hollywood face of the week. Don’t feel too bad for the star, although the Pitch Perfect actress is reportedly single she’s had a pretty successful run in the dating pool. She had a long term relationship with her Scott Pilgrim vs the World director.

As for her career it’s still going strong. As of right now she has three huge films coming out including musical adaptations Into the Woods and The Last 5 Years, and is currently filming Pitch Perfect 2. Not too shabby for a late bloomer!
