Las Vegas Shooting: Shocking Video Of ‘Patriot’ Cop Killers Deaths Made Public By Police

The Las Vegas shooting spree Sunday, in which a married couple who were part of the anti-government “patriot” movement killed two police officers and another man, ended when the pair died in the back of a Wal-Mart store. Now police have made public frightening surveillance video of the deranged couple’s final moments alive.

While it was originally believed that Jerad Miller, 31, was shot by his 22-year-old wife Amanda who then killed herself in a suicide pact, police now say that the husband was already fatally wounded by a police bullet when, as seen on the video, Amanda Miller fires her weapon at him — and misses.

Amanda Miller then turned her weapon on herself, shooting herself in the head and dying at the scene from the self-inflicted wound.

The shocking video depicts these final moments in the lives of the two right-wing extremists, who according to police and witness accounts, believed that their killing spree marked the first shots of an anti-government revolution in the United States.

While the video fades to black before Amanda Miller fires the fatal shot into her own head, the images in the grainy, 23-second surveillance camera clip nonetheless could prove deeply disturbing to many viewers. Therefore, The Inquisitr has chosen not to embed the video on this page. To view the video on the Las Vegas Police YouTube page, click this link. But be warned: the video is difficult to watch.

After cold-bloodedly slaying Las Vegas officers Alyn Beck and Igor Soldo as they ate lunch at a pizzeria, Jerad and Amanda Miller reportedly covered the officers’ bodies with a Revolutionary War-era “Don’t Tread On Me” flag — a flag that has more recently been adopted as an emblem of the right-wing “Tea Party” movement.

“We don’t necessarily believe that they are white supremacists or associated with the Nazi movement. We believe that they equate government and law enforcement with Nazis,” said Clark County Assistant Sheriff Kevin McMahill. “In other words, they believe that law enforcement is the oppressor.”

The couple, police say, shouted anti-government slogans throughout their killing spree, which continued inside a Wal-Mart when 31-year-old Joseph Wilcox, a concealed-carry gun permit holder who hoped to become a police officer himself, drew his gun and attempted to confront Jerad Miller. But Amanda Miller shot Wilcox in the back and killed him.

The video clip of the Miller’s final moments was released as part of what Las Vegas police say is a large quantity of evidence and video that proves the “cold blooded” nature of the Millers’ murder spree.

The video ends in blackness, with only the voice of a police officer commenting on the scene, as Amanda Miller first attempts to fire on her husband then aims her gun at herself. “She is about to 405,” the officer says, using police code for suicide. “The female just shot herself in the head.”
