James Franco Calls Lindsay Lohan ‘Damaged’ In New ‘Fictional’ Story

James Franco is once again proving that “write what you know” is the best way to get people’s attention. After his name popped up on Lindsay Lohan’s sex list, he has time and time again denied that anything sexual happened between he and Lohan. Although the actor denied having a sexual relationship with Lohan, Franco later on admitted that they stayed at the same hotel together in Los Angeles, and she allegedly broke into his room at the Chateau Marmont. It’s not too hard to believe — even his film This Is The End played on the rumors circulating around the nature of his relationship with Lohan. However, we thought that’s where their encounter ended, but apparently there’s a much larger story to tell.

Franco has revealed in a semi-fictionalized essay for Vice that there was a second visit by Lohan. The real kicker is that he only let her into his room under the condition that they wouldn’t have sex. So what did they do, you ask? If going by his essay, he might have read Lindsay some J.D. Salinger because, “I knew that she would like Salinger, because most young women do.”

In an essay titled Bungalow 89, Franco describes their odd night together, and while he doesn’t say identify Lohan by her first and last name, given his recent comments about Lindsay’s behavior at the Chateau Marmont, it’s kind of a no-brainer. But knowing Franco, that’s probably the point.

Consider passages like this:

“I ran my fingers through her hair and thought about this girl sleeping on my chest, our fictional Hollywood girl, Lindsay. What will she do? I hope she gets better. You see, she is famous. She was famous because she was a talented child actress, and now she’s famous because she gets into trouble. She is damaged.”

He continues to describe poor “damaged” and very “fictional” Lindsay:

“For a while, after her high hellion days, she couldn’t get work because she couldn’t get insured. They thought she would run off the sets to party. Her career suffered, and she started getting arrested (stealing, DUIs, car accidents, other things). She got just as much attention for them as she used to get for her film performances. She would get money offers for her jailhouse memoirs, crazy offers.”

Sound familiar to you? Despite Franco’s revealing portrait of his night with Lindsay Lohan, most of the comments on Vice’s site seem to be aimed at his other name dropping, which includes the likes of Cher, Leonardo DiCaprio, Gus Van Sant, and Terry Richardson.

No word on what Lindsay Lohan has to say about any of this.
