Lauryn Hill Gives Birth to Sixth Child Amid Rumors Boyfriend Rohan Marley is Stepping Out

After announcing her sixth pregnancy in April, R&B soul singer Lauryn Hill has given birth to a baby boy, the site BlackCelebrityKids.com reports.

The months during which Hill’s pregnancy were known have been full of rumors about Hill and longtime boyfriend Rohan Marley. Marley initially denied fathering Hill’s baby, making a series of comments on Twitter to the effect that the child wasn’t his. He later scrubbed the comments, but they lived on in gossip columns across the internet.

Then it was rumored Marley was stepping out with Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana, another rumor Marley eventually denied. The baby was born on Saturday, July 23rd, and a brief statement was made about the child’s arrival:

“Mother and baby are fine,” says the source, who adds that Hill and family “had a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck. All is well now and everyone is happy.”

No name or vital stats were offered for the baby just yet… nor was it known who was listed as his dad on his birth certificate.
