John Elway’s Son, Jack Arrested, Accused Of Domestic Violence On Woman
Two-time Super Bowl Champion and Denver Broncos manager John Elway’s son Jack was arrested, accused of domestic violence in a case reported to police on Friday.
According to information by Raquel Villanueva from KUSA, John Elway’s son was arrested for domestic violence:
“According to court records, Jack Elway faces disturbing the peace and assault charges for the incident that occurred on Colfax Avenue and North Lipan Street. He was bonded out by his father (John Elway). The bond was set at $550.”
John Elway’s son allegedly pushed a 23-year-old woman out of a moving car at the mentioned intersection. Even though there is no official word about the woman’s condition, CBS4 says that a source close to the case reports the woman doesn’t have any visible injuries.
Shortly after police were called to investigate the crime, John Elway’s son, John Elway III, was arrested at his home and taken to the Denver jail. A protective order was issued in the case.

John Elway’s son is a former quarterback at Arizona State, following in his very famous dad’s footsteps. However, he quit the Sun Devils after being on the short list to take on the starting quarterback position.
At the time John Elway supported his son’s decision saying:
“He sounds better. Just talking to him, it’s like the world has been lifted off his shoulders. So I’m happy for him.”
Unfortunately, things are not going well for John Elway and his family right now as they try to deal with this very disturbing accusation.
Villanueva reports that the Denver Broncos’ director of media relations, Patrick Smyth, acknowledged the arrest of John Elway’s son, but declined further comment saying:
“This is a personal family matter and the Broncos will not have any additional comment on it.”
No more details about John Elway’s son’s arrest are available at this time. It is unclear how the incident will affect John Elway’s reputation in the NFL.
