Luke Bryan’s Wild Weekend: A Fall, Stitches, NASCAR

Country star Luke Bryan joined NASCAR star Brad Keselowski on the track today at Dover’s “Monster Mile,” where the two hung out and tweeted photos of themselves together on Keselowski’s car and near the track. Bryan joined Keselowski in celebrating his second-place finish, after Jimmie Johnson.

Fans are surely happy to see Luke Bryan out and about after his fall from a stage in Charlotte North Carolina on Friday.

About the fall, Bryan tweeted

The New York Daily News notes that this isn’t the first time Bryan has taken a tumble in North Carolina, and that the singer made light of the incident, telling fans to YouTube it. Fans, of course, obliged. While Bryan was falling off a stage, Keselowski must’ve been celebrating earning pole position in Friday’s qualifying race. ESPN notes that, in conjunction with his six second-place starts, this makes him one of the top front-row starters this year. The following day, as Bryan tweeted reassurance to fans, Keselowski also hit Twitter, where he announced that the country star, who was just declared Sexiest Country Star by People Magazine, would join him for Sunday’s race.

Several fans responded jokingly, suggesting Keselowski should watch out for Bryan and not let him take anymore tumbles.

It looks like the NASCAR event finished up without Bryan suffering any injuries, as the tweets attest:

The partnership between Luke Bryan and Brad Keselowski isn’t new. Bryan’s image was added to the Miller Lite sponsorship on the hood of Keselowski’s car back in August, promoting Bryan’s Crash My Party album. He Joined Keselowski in the car for that weekend’s event, too.

Maybe after such an eventful weekend, Luke Bryan will be ready to take a few days to rest up before returning to Virginia on Friday and North Carolina on Saturday and Sunday for more events in his That’s My Kind Of Night tour!
