Eric Dane of Grey’s Anatomy Enters Rehab For Painkiller Addiction


He plays a doctor on TV and now Grey’s Anatomy actor Eric Dane will be looked after by real doctors during his stay at an undisclosed rehab center as he battles an addiction to painkillers.

The actors reps have disclosed that “Dr. Mark Sloane” has voluntarily checked himself into rehab, noting:

“Actor Eric Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus.”

While Dane may have checked into rehab, it’s going to be a short stay with the actor expected to return to work on Thursday. His reps continued:

“He reports back to work this week. Business as usual.”

Dane and his wife Rebecca Gayheart are currently have been married since 204 and they are currently awaiting the arrival of their second child.
