Final Fantasy XIII-2 confirmed for January release

Square Enix sent out a press release earlier this morning to let fans know of their plans at Comic-Con, and in the email Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII-2 is due out in North America January of next year. The previous release timeline had the game due out “next winter”.
Additionally, Square Enix sent word that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be playable at San Diego Comic Con later this week, in addition to playable builds of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Wakfu and Dead Island. If you have any plans to head over to Comic Con, be sure to check that out.
