Kevin Hart Teams Up With Mike Epps For New Comedy

Kevin Hart and Mike Epps are reportedly joining forces for an upcoming comedy.

Remember when the comedians decided to lash out at one another on social media? It was pretty big news for about 15 minutes, thanks in part to Hart’s declaration that Epps should take a moment out of his busy schedule to commit suicide. A few people thought the guys were just having a bit of fun on social media, and it appears they were probably right. Of course, the guys aren’t saying too much about the possible hoax these days.

“Oh one more thing… if you keep talking crazy I will book shows the same day as you in the same cities and shut your s**t down,” Hart declared at one point during the exchange.

The folks over at Madame Noire point out that Kevin Hart and his comedic rival are pooling their respective talents for the upcoming comedy School Dance. The film is the brainchild of Nick Cannon, who serves as both writer and director on the project. Lionsgate is all set to release the film in the US this summer.

Although Vibe Vixen claims Hart has a role in the movie, it’s unclear just how involved he is with the project. IMDb lists Kevin’s appearance as uncredited, which means he’ll likely make a cameo at some point during the flick. In short: Don’t expect to see too much of the guy in School Dance.

In addition to Kevin Hart and Mike Epps, Nick Cannon’s forthcoming comedy also features appearances from Bobb’e J Thompson, Luenell, Katt Williams, Affion Crockett, George Lopez, Lil Duval, and Amber Rose. Demi Lovato’s boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, Efren Ramirez, and Patrick Warburton also star. Look for the film to arrive on one format or another this July.

If you’re in the market for another proper cinematic experience from Kevin Hart, then you won’t have to wait too much longer. Director Tim Story’s Think Like a Man Too is presently slated for release on June 20, a motion picture that serves as the comedian’s third theatrical release in 2014. The guy is everywhere at the moment, and it doesn’t appear that’s going to change anytime soon.

One look at his IMDb page shows that Hart has a large number of projects in the works. In addition to The Wedding Ringer, Kevin stars in writer-director Chris Rock’s directorial debut Finally Famous. Fans also have Ride Along 2 looming on the horizon; the sequel should take the big screen by storm in 2016.

Are you surprised that Kevin Hart and Mike Epps will appear together in Nick Cannon’s upcoming comedy School Dance?
