Zayn Malik And Perrie Edwards Wedding Might Be Postponed

One Direction’s Zayn Malik and Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards were originally scheduled to tie the knot in 2015, but it looks like the wedding might be on hold for now.

According to Metro, Edwards said she is “guessing” she and Zayn won’t wed in 2015, since she is busy touring with her band until May. Meanwhile, Malik and his band will be busy with a tour that begins in February.

“But after that, once it starts dying down a little bit touring-wise, we’ll be able to get into it,” she added.

And even though she and Zayn Malik are both very busy individuals, Edwards is OK with that.

“It makes it a bit more exciting because you don’t get to see each other, so when you do see each other, you get butterflies,” she said.

Edwards added that her bandmates feel the same, when it comes to dating.

“It would be hard if we didn’t feel like they were worth it,” she said.

According to a recent report from The Inquisitr, Zayn Malik’s fiancee will not be going to a bridal shop to pick out a wedding dress. Instead, she will be coming up with a design herself. And she already has one in mind.

“I definitely want long sleeves,” Edwards said. “I know exactly what I want, so I’m designing it and getting it made from scratch.”

She also mentioned that when she and Zayn Malik tie the knot, she is going to wear “natural makeup,” although it won’t be “too natural.”

“I don’t want to be a natural Nancy… but nice, light eye shadow with a nude lip,” she said.

Zayn Malik popped the question to Edwards last year, and said he was ready to “move mountains,” when it came to determining a wedding date, according to the Irish Independent. But it seems that Zayn and Edwards want to have different ceremonies. An anonymous source told Now magazine that Zayn wants to have it be “just the two of them with close family.”

“But Perrie’s imagining things on a massive scale; she wants a castle or to hire a private island,” the source said.

The announcement of the new One Direction tour, “On The Road Again,” came during their current tour, “Where We Are,” according to a separate post from Metro. Zayn Malik and the rest of the group will begin in Sydney, Australia on February 7. Other locations include Hong Kong, Japan, and South Africa. The full tour schedule can be found here.

Zayn Malik and his band will perform next in Sunderland, United Kingdom on May 28. More tour dates can be found here.
