The Witcher 2 patch 1.3 details

CD Projekt RED still isn’t ready to let The Witcher 2 patch 1.3 out into the wild just yet, but they were at least kind enough to provide a few details on what we can expect for the game’s next major patch.

Patch 1.3 will adds quite a few new features, including the ability to remove the HUD for screenshot purposes, support for 4:3, 5:4 and 16:10 aspect ratios, and a new item storage system, available at your local inn.

The patch will also address quite a few issues users have been faced with, including a fix for nVidia 3D Vision technology, optimization improvements in Vergen’s tavern, and a number of other fixes, tweaks and additions.

Finally, the patch will include a free DLC quest, “A Sackful of Fluff”, in Chapter 2 of the game. Little was revealed about the new quest, only that the quest “will prove most rewarding to those who demonstrate patience.”
