Justin Bieber Didn’t Go To Yovanna Ventura’s Miami High School Prom, Never Confirmed To

Justin Bieber didn’t attend gal pal Yovanna Ventura’s Miami Senior High School prom last Friday, which should surprise exactly no-one.

Ventura and Bieber were photographed hanging out together in Las Vegas and Los Angeles earlier this month, with tactile shots of the pair surfacing.

From there, a rumor which appears to have originated in the entertainment sections of Miami news outlets speculated whether Bieber would escort 18-year-old, Miami senior high school student Yovanna to the prom on May 23.

He didn’t.

Instead, the singer spent a party-crammed week in Cannes, France, while the city hosts its annual Film Festival.

In addition, it’s highly unlikely Bieber ever intended to take Yovanna to the prom.

Following an initial report by NBC 6 claiming the Canadian pop star had been “approved to attend” by school officials, a May 16 report in Miami New Times Blogs denied this.

The Times contacted the school and spoke to a senior student clerk, who confirmed no-one from Bieber’s camp had been in touch with the school.

Clerk Ana Jimenez reportedly told the outlet: “My principal just told me that we can’t give you an answer if he has been approved or denied because he hasn’t actually confirmed that he wants to go.”

Then added: “Until we get confirmation that he wants to go, we can’t give him an answer or give anyone else an answer… It’s just a rumor going around. It’s all verbal.”

If Yovanna feels disappointed about Bieber’s no-show at her prom, she hasn’t mentioned it at her over-283,000 followers subscribed to Instagram account.

However, the selfie-loving, fitness model/promoter did post two snaps of herself wearing two prom dress options in black and purple.

In both photographs, Ventura shows her ample assets and links to a dress designer and a make-up professional.

The business move suggests the high school hottie went to the prom, and perhaps isn’t too upset by her seemingly fading contact with the Biebs.

According to reports, Justin hasn’t been short of female company in Cannes.

The singer posted an Instagram photo of himself with Brazilian model Adriana Lima after one of many nights ending at the Gotha nightclub in Cannes.

Earlier this week, Bieber was seen getting cozy with Barbara Palvin at a yacht party thrown by Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.

Justin and the Hungarian model first met at a Victoria’s Secret fashion show she modeled and he performed at back in November 2012.

In a video of the pair at the Cavalli bash, Palvin is seen affectionately stroking Bieber’s face.

Citing a source, E! news reported light petting between the two continued during the party.

The eyewitness added that after Bieber left for his hotel, Palvin arrived shortly after.

On the day of the prom itself, Bieber was seen sitting front row with Kellan Lutz at the Amber Lounge fashion show Gala in Monte Carlo, ahead of enjoying the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday.

Whether Bieber’s AWOL routine at the Miami prom should be interpreted as the twilight of his rumoured fling with Ventura remains to be seen.

But, perhaps it’s just as well Bieber didn’t go.

From reports, it seems other high school students didn’t want him there. It’s been claimed the star would have been slapped with a lawsuit if he had shown up.
