[Free Food] Chick-Fil-A Celebrates Cow Appreciation Day

If you haven’t heard yet, Chick-Fil-A, the popular and extremely tasty fast-food chain restaurant is handing out free meals for the remainder of Friday with one small catch – You have to dress up as a bovine in honor of Cow Appreciation Day.

While partial costumes – Cow hats, a cow nose, etc – will earn you a free entree of your choice, those brave enough to hoof it into the establishment in a head-to-toe cow costume will receive an entire free meal.

The same rules apply to kids – who Chick-Fil-A was kind enough to provide printable costumes, that can be constructed with tape and scissors, for ( and the help of a parent).

“Cow Appreciation Day is a great barometer of how passionate our customers are for our brand,” said Steve Robinson, Chick-fil-A’s senior vice president of marketing, in a statement.

Those of you wishing to cash in on the deal need to hurry as the majority of Chick-Fil-A stores shut down shop at 10pm sharp.

With the help of its “Eat Mor Chikin” cows campaign, Chick-fil-A was recognized in 2010 as one of the top “Marketers of the Year” by Advertising Age, as one of J.D. Power and Associates’ Top Restaurant Brands in Customer Satisfaction, and recently took home the prize for the #1 chicken fast-food establishment, in a survey by Consumer Reports.
