Ellen DeGeneres Divorce: Ellen And Portia De Rossi Attend Party Amid Rumors Of Split

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have faced seemingly never-ending divorce rumors in recent months, but this week the couple stepped out together at a star-studded Los Angeles party and tried to put the rumors to bed.

Reports have said the Ellen and Portia have clashed on everything from Portia’s career to her desire to have children, though all the while the couple has denied that there is trouble in the marriage.

This weekend the two appeared at Arianna Huffington’s Thrive book party, where they had their arms wrapped around each other and smiled for photographers. Witnesses said the two looked very much in love, and a series of photos published in the Daily Mail appeared to back it up.

Despite the public appearances, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi still face divorce rumors. Digital Spy reported that Portia recently left Ellen behind when she attended the 2014 AOL Digital NewFronts Presentation in Brooklyn, and has grown tired of Ellen’s busy schedule.

“Portia is very demanding,” a source reportedly said. “She wants Ellen to work less, and spend more time with her.

“But Ellen doesn’t want to — she has worked hard to get to where she is, and isn’t going to let things slide,” the source added.

Other reports have said the Portia de Rossi wants to start a family — other reports have claimed that she is actually pregnant — but Ellen is sticking to her vow to never have children.

“I’ve said it so many times: We are not going to have a child,” Ellen told Jay Leno back in 2012. “And they say that we’re looking for the right donor. Although, you would be a good donor, so I’ll keep it in mind, just in case. I mean, it would have beautiful blue eyes, and a good sense of humor, and a good shot at a NBC show. We would do well.”

If Ellen DeGeneres and Porti de Rossi are getting a divorce, however, neither of them have indicated anything publicly about it.
