NFL Player Sues To Get Engagement Ring Back

Dallas Cowboys receiver Roy Williams sent an engagement ring to former Miss Texas USA Brooke Daniels around Valentine’s Day and asked her to marry him and now he’s suing to get back the engagement ring he sent after Daniels turned down his proposal.

In an affidavit Williams says he also sent Daniel’s $5,000 to pay bills and sent her a signed ball for her brother. Williams says the proposal was a surprise and that he asked for the ring back after she denied his proposal but she didn’t return it after saying it was lost.

An insurance investigation soon revealed that Daniels’ father actually has the ring and he says he’ll give it back, but until then a case is still looming.
