Palestinian TV Show Encourages Kids To Shoot Jews [Video]

A children’s show broadcast over a Hamas television channel in Gaza appears to encourage kids to shoot all the Jews, according to a translation.

In the clip in question, a young female host on a show called Tomorrow’s Pioneers broadcast over Al-Aqsa TV is depicted interviewing a little girl in the studio who wants to become a police officer like her uncle when she grows up.

The show’s co-host, an adult dressed in a bee costume, mentions that a cop catches thieves and other troublemakers and also shoots Jews. If this translation is accurate, with the help of the host, the young girl acknowledges that she wants to shoot all the Jews, at which point the approving host says “good.”

The clip in question also features the actor in the bee costume encouraging other Palestinian kids to throw rocks at Jews and Zionists.

According to the Times of Israel, Tomorrow’s Pioneers, “a children’s program with a Sesame Street-like format of live actors interacting with puppets and humans in animal costumes, has repeatedly come under fire for violent anti-Semitic and anti-Western themes, often presented to children as young as 3 or 4.”

Hamas, which controls Gaza, reportedly is in the process of forming a unity government with Fatah, which controls the West Bank. The US has deemed Hamas a terrorist organization; the Hamas charter calls for the destruction of Israel.

In January, Israeli officials documented many examples of “negative statements about Israel and Jews in official Palestinian Authority media and textbooks” for reporters covering the Middle East peace process. Said the country’s minister of strategic affairs, “the general phenomenon is very clear: They are poisoning Palestinian children with deep hatred of Israel and the Jewish people.”
