Brace Yourself: Tiny Hamster Fist Fight!

This video of a tiny hamster eating pizza off of a miniature plate just went too far for some loyal tiny hamster fans. It apparently overstepped its cyber-bounds, and some people are pretty upset about it. The YouTube channel AprilsAnimals presented the adorable hamster eating pizza, but as cute as it was, it was imitating last week’s viral video of a hamster eating burritos.

Generally, imitation is considered a form of flattery, but some hamster fans aren’t pleased with what they consider an “unauthorized” sequel. YouTube channel HelloDenizenm is the supreme and original tiny hamster film producer, according to its very loyal following. Inquisitr reported on that video as it was going viral.

One viewer said of the video of the tiny hamster eating pizza,”Cute but it doesn’t have the production values of the original. Where’s the suspense of waiting while the pizza is being made and the table set up? Unfortunately, it’s derivative – a copy of the original.” That was an especially gentle critic of the copycat tiny hamster video. The outrage over a channel producing a hamster video that is not HelloDenizenm is unfurling on YouTube now.

Another viewer wrote, “f-cking rip-off of the original. booooooooo.” It seems some fans of the original tiny hamster are fighting mad.

Brett Jenson wrote, “Mix it up with the props. If he isn’t going to use a fork, have a handgun there.” The video of the tiny hamster eating pizza was even called void of style and emotion.

Not all the feedback is so hateful though, most people love watching the little guy eat his mini-pizza.

In the original hamster video, a human chef carefully sliced miniature burrito ingredients and then assembled the teeny meal with chef-grade tweezers. After the chef painstakingly and lovingly produced the mini-burrito masterpiece, the tiny hamster scarfed down the meticulously made meal. That video had extreme attention to detail and the audience loved it. The video of tiny hamster eating burritos was so popular that even a Time Magazine and NPR covered it.
