On Willow Smith’s ‘Racy’ Picture With Moises Arias: ‘There Was Nothing Sexual About It,’ Says Jada Pinkett Smith

Momma to the rescue! Jada Pinkett Smith has come forth in defense of her young daughter Willow Smith after she came under fire regarding a controversial photo of Willow and actor Moises Arias. As pictured below, Willow is lying in bed with a disheveled and shirtless Arias. Several child advocates have spoken out against the photo, saying that the photo is ‘inappropriate’ and ‘suggestive’ in nature.

Willow Smith Controversial Picture

In a statement released to TMZ on Wednesday, Jada is quoted as saying the following:

Here’s the deal: there was nothing sexual about that picture or that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it, and you’re acting like covert pedophiles, and that’s not cool.

But when she was asked if she would allow her daughter to take similar pictures like this in the future, Jada declined to comment.

Arias has published similar pictures to his blog which include photos of Willow’s brother Jaden and their friends Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Neither Willow nor Arias has made any formal statement regarding the controversial photo.

So who is this Moises Arias guy anyway?

Arias portrayed the character Rico opposite Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana on the popular Disney series by the same name. Aside from his role on Hannah Montana, Arias has had parts in The Wizard of Waverly Place, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and The Middle. He also had major movie roles on the Hannah Montana movie as well as Nacho Libre, The Kings of Summer, and Ender’s Game. He co-starred with Miley Cyrus from 2006 until 2011. He has a penchant for photography and frequently posting selfies to his Instagram account as well as pictures of his several friends.

Moises Arias is well-known in such social circles as the Kardashians and is close with Selena Gomez. The entire group, to include Willow and Jaden Smith spent time together during Coachella, which is reportedly when the photos of Willow were taken. He’s also known for his provocative tweets on Twitter. He has posted the following to his Twitter account in recent months:

Let’s have love and make sex.

Better to be hated than to be loved for something you hate.

Women look so cute today.

Goin’ 69 on a 45.

What do you think, Inquisitrs? Is the photo of Willow and Moises too racy? Is a friendship between a 20-year-old and a 13-year-old inappropriate?
