‘The Bachelorette’ 2014 Preview: Official Spoilers from ABC Released
The Bachelorette 2014 season premieres in a few weeks with Andi Dorfman as the lead in season 10. ABC released an official press release briefly touching on a few spoilers fans can expect from the show.
As previously reported by Inquisitr, Dorfman was announced as the new Bachelorette following After the Final Rose on March 11. She broke up with Juan Pablo Galavis on his season of The Bachelor when she realized there was no connection whatsoever. The level-headed District Attorney from Atlanta isn’t one to play head games and her 25 suitors will learn that very fast!
According to the press release, Chris Harrison will honor Bachelorette contestant Eric Hill, who died after paragliding in Utah on April 23. In fact, the entire season will be dedicated to Hill, who died at the age of 32. He was eliminated by Dorfman mid-way through The Bachelorette.
The meet and greet episode will show Andi just as nervous as any other woman before her. Let’s not forget the insane cocktail parties The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are so famous for.
ABC revealed in its spoilers preview of The Bachelorette that a musician, hairstylist, pro golfer, fashion designer, and world traveler are among the men meeting Andi. One of the more creative entrances will be a hot personal trainer pushing his broken down limo up the driveway.
From then on out, things get heated up as the cast gets competitive with one another. Little do they all know that another man is at the mansion gates outside. He’s a former Bachelorette contestant who wants a shot at winning Andi’s heart; he crashes the party and Andi must decide if he goes or stays.
Dorfman shocks the contestants when she gives the first impression rose to an “unassuming,” and “humble” man. By the end of the night, six of the 25 contestants will be eliminated.
Harrison told ABC News that this season of The Bachelorette reminds him of Trista Sutter’s in season one — there are plenty of troublemakers in the mix! Plan to see more drama as always for this show!
What’s on the travel itinerary for season 10? Andi and the cast will travel to Marseille, France, Venice and Verona, Italy, Brussels and Ghent, Belgium.
The Bachelorette premieres Monday, May 19 on ABC at 9:30 pm, ET/PT. The show will air at its normal time slot on May 26 at 8 pm, ET/PT.
