Justin Levens and wife shot to death in murder suicide
Former UFC fighter Justin Levens and his wife were found dead from gunshot wounds in a home in Laguna Niguel, California today.
The police are investigating their deaths and the theory that the deaths are a possible murder/suicide. Justin Leven’s fighting nickname was “The Executioner”. Quite relevant isn’t it.
Levens had a career record of 9-8 and fought in several different MMA leagues, before retiring from the UFC.
TMZ are saying that in a morbid twist, Levens once lost to Evan Tanner — the UFC fighter who was found dead in the desert back in September. Ooooh spooky.
Levens’s career finishes on a five-fight losing streak and eight losses out of his last ten fights.
Levens was drug tested in July testing positive for the painkiller Oxymorphone. Levens was fined $1,000 and suspended until Jan. 15, 2009.
